Factors to Keep in Mind:
While there are industrial light fixtures that are below $100.00, our research showed us that the optimally-priced fixtures are between $150.00 and $250.00 depending on brightness, ease of placement, and heat displacement. With industrial lights in particular, reliability is the top priority.
Industrial lights are high-power, high-output lights that generate quite a bit of heat. We have taken this into consideration already, but in your selection, make sure you take into account the ventilation of your space, the time of year the lights will get the most use, and the spacing between lights.
Brightness and Color
The brightness of the light first comes to mind and is most important to keep in mind. Dim lighting can lead to poor work environments, and even poor health.
What does “4000k” mean?
Pure white is 2500-3500k, meaning 4000k has a slightly blue tint to it. Blue tints keep people awake and energized longer, which is why most new cars come with blue headlights instead of white. 6500k means the light has a fairly noticeable, but not overpowering, blue tint.
